SCHÜCO LivIng 82 MD PVCu windows are made from the latest SCHÜCO profile which was introduced to the public at the Fensterbau Frontale in Nürnberg in 2016. Upgraded window technology of SCHÜCO Living MD 82 profile is particularly noticeable in the following features:
- improved heat transfer coefficients of frame from Uf = 0.96 W/m2K (when the front width of profiles is 120 mm)
- an extended overlap of the frame and sash (8 mm) in the exterior, the modification of gasket shape in the centre and the larger functional range of interior and exterior rebate gaskets. This resulted in an increased tightness of windows.
- weldable EPDM gasket is the world's first, developed in cooperation with SEMPERIT company. The EPDM seal has better shape stability and longer lifetime than gaskets based on other materials. The result is more attractive connections of the gaskets in the corners and their better tightness.
- options for a dark grey or caramel core profile with two-sided lamination. Especially with gray lamination, the dark grey core looks very elegantly.
If LivIng 82 MD profile is designed with thermal insulation rebate insert under glass, triple glazing with Ug = 0.6 W/m2K and SWISSSPACER Ultimate spacer bar with linear heat transfer coefficient of Ψ = 0.030 W/mK, then the window heat transfer coefficient refers to Uw = 0.8 W/m2K (with the dimension of 1230 x 1480 mm) which allows its incorporation into low-energy and passive buildings.
The windows are standardly equipped with all-round fitting Siegenia TITAN AF, with alternative fittings SCHÜCO VarioTec, allowing down pressure of sash against window frame, handle control with two mashroom cams for casement windows with tilt back system, and a number of other options for fittings.
We produce and also offer Schüco LivIng 82 MD windows in modification with outer aluminium cladding (TopAlu), see photos in the product gallery. ALU-clad can be painted with approx. 300 colours and then the structure resembles of all-aluminum fillers.

The TITAN Silber coating provides resistance to environmental conditions such as rain, wind, dust and air humidity. The corrosion protection based on nanotechnology provides a high-quality, silver glossy look. Surface treatment does not contain hexavalent chromium and therefore it is environment friendly and recyclable. TITAN AF fitting can be used for windows and balcony doors up to security class RC2. Fittings can be equipped with magnetic sensors monitoring whether the window is open or closed.
SCHÜCO VarioTec fitting is a system fitting for SCHÜCO PVCu windows combining the advantages of steel fittings and the principle of a plastic locking bar. The individual components as well as the overall fittings are tested under the toughest conditions of independent institutes. The finishing fitting is black. Visible fittings (handles, hinges) are available in white, black and silver colors. VarioTec fitting can be used for windows and balcony doors up to security class RC2. Fittings can be equipped with magnetic sensors monitoring whether the window is open or closed.
We standardly offer thermal insulation triple glazing with SGG Planitherm XN (low-E) low emissivity coating. This glazing has excelllent properties: heat transfer coefficient Ug = 0.6 W/m2K, solar factor g = 54%, light transmission TL = 74%. Filled with argon to 90%, the value of emissivity coating is 0.03. The glazing is supplied with SGG SWISSPACER ADVANCED spacer or SGG SWISSPACER ULTIMATE spacer which currently have the best parameters on the market . We focus on the issue of glazing in the blog.
There is thermal and insulation double glazing with low-emissive coating (low-E) available. Glazing parameters for FLOAT4 - 16 - 4lowE compilation: Ug = 1.1 W / m2K (according to EN 673),the emissivity value of low-E layer = 0.03, light transmission: TL = 82%, total energy transfer (solar factor) g = 65%, warm spacer “warm edge” SWISSPACER Advance, argon filling 90%.
It is often necessary to “stuff” the composition of only one kind of glass with a number of properties. In addition to energy requirements (thermal insulation, sun protection, and heat gains), we often impose on glass also requirements for safety (protection against burglary, protection against injury), aesthetic (ornaments, colours, opaque) or functional (noise protection, self-cleaning property). Glass simultaneously meeting multiple requirements is called multifunctional glass and to put it on offer requires the knowledge of the subject and a proficient supplier of glass. Luckily, we meet both of these precondition in Aluplast :-)
In addition to the standard white (RAL 9016) there are also available 16 wood paterns of veneer, and 21 RAL shades when laminating, and up to approx. 300 RAL shades when sheating is done with aluminium cladding (TopAlu) and wet varnishing technology.
