Window functionality is always assessed in its installed state. If the installation is not performed correctly, even a technically superior window will not function as intended.

For a window to function, three basic conditions must be met
A long-term functional window is created only when these three elements come together:
– Quality profile and correctly chosen glass
– An experienced manufacturer who designs and custom-produces the window
– Professional installation

Installation according to applicable standards and technical rules
Installation is carried out according to the applicable standard:
STN 73 31 34 – Construction works. Interface between window structures and building envelope. Requirements, execution, and testing.
This standard defines the so-called three-zone installation, which ensures the correct function of the window in the building opening:
– Vapor-tight plane from the interior
– Thermal insulation zone
– Vapor-permeable plane from the exterior
In Slovakia, the tape / foam / tape system (the so-called tape installation) is most commonly used, but it is not the only possible way to install according to this standard.
Installation of large and heavy elements
For large-format windows and doors, ‘manual labor’ is no longer sufficient.
We can provide:
- handling equipment with suction cups up to 700 kg
- equipment for safe installation of large and heavy glass
- experience with installing large formats in residential and commercial buildings
Thanks to this, we can install even demanding solutions without improvisation and risk of damage.
