FAQ – SCHÜCO windows
What is the difference between SCHÜCO plastic and aluminum systems?
There are several differences. For example, plastic and aluminum systems differ in their structural essence. A PVC profile is a plastic frame reinforced with an iron stiffener. An aluminum profile consists of an outer and inner aluminum shell, which are connected by an insulator system.
Are SCHÜCO windows suitable for passive houses?
Yes. Some SCHÜCO systems, in the correct configuration, can meet very high energy efficiency requirements.
Why is it advantageous to have a certified fabricator?
Windows are not an inexpensive matter. As a certified SCHÜCO fabricator with a long history and experience, we can advise and then produce high-quality windows according to individual requirements.
Are SCHÜCO sliding systems suitable for large glazing?
Yes. Large glazing is a very impressive element in today’s architecture. However, certain compromises must be kept in mind. For example, economic demands, operating comfort, and complicated repair/service.
