When We Recommend Plastic Entrance Doors
Family Homes and Other Low-Traffic Areas
Plastic entrance doors are particularly suitable for family homes, where the frequency of use corresponds to typical family usage. Plastic doors can offer good thermal insulation and a favorable price-to-performance ratio. However, certain factors need to be considered more carefully than with aluminum doors (such as orientation to cardinal directions, etc.). We recommend consulting with us to ensure everything functions as intended.

Custom Plastic Door Manufacturing – We Only Use HPL Panels
Why We Don’t Use PVC Panels
If a customer chooses plastic entrance doors, we combine them exclusively with HPL panels, not PVC panels.
HPL (High Pressure Laminate) is a high-pressure laminate:

- exceptionally strong and dimensionally stable
- resistant to UV radiation, moisture, and temperature changes
- color and dimensionally stable
Compared to PVC panels, it offers:

- better mechanical resistance
- longer lifespan
- higher stability under solar load
Thanks to HPL panels, we can partially mitigate some risks that might otherwise cause problems over time with plastic doors.
Panels Exclusively with Expansion Core
The expansion core in the panel serves to eliminate the bimetallic effect, i.e., the bowing of the door leaf due to different temperatures between the exterior and interior. PVC doors are more susceptible to this effect. This is a property of PVC as a material. The most critical areas are south-facing entrance doors, where the sun shines on them for most of the day. To prevent complications as much as possible, we exclusively use HPL panels with an expansion core for PVC doors.

The price of windows and doors cannot be determined by a single figure from a price list. We always calculate the price tailored to the project. The final price is influenced by several factors:

FAQ – Custom Plastic Door Manufacturing
Are plastic entrance doors suitable as a main entrance?
Yes, provided that dimensional limits are observed and the frequency of use is not higher than that of a single family. They are suitable for a family home, but not, for example, for the entrance to an apartment building, restaurant, or shop.
Why do you combine plastic doors only with HPL panels?
We use inserted HPL panels for their strength and lower cost compared to aluminum panels. Aluminum panels (ADECO) for plastic doors are only used for doors with single-sided leaf overlay.
Do you manufacture custom plastic entrance doors?
Yes. Only custom-made – according to the individual requirements of the customer and the specific project.
