PVC-aluminum windows are a solution that combines the excellent insulating properties of a plastic window with the durability and color options of aluminum. The base is a plastic window, onto the exterior side of which an aluminum clip (alu-clip/top-alu) is snapped.

What is the difference between an alu-clip and an aluminum window?
An alu-clip window is a standard plastic window with aluminum cladding added to its exterior side.
An aluminum window is made of aluminum profiles with a thermal break.
When is it better to choose aluminum?
Definitely for large-sized windows. Or if powder coating must also be on the interior side of the windows.
What about maintenance?
Maintenance does not differ from plastic or aluminum windows.
Are they suitable for low-energy homes?
